Divya Spandana in 'Vada Chennai'?

Vetrimaaran's second film 'Aadukalam' had Dhanush, the hero of his first venture 'Polladhavan', in the lead. Now his third movie 'Vada Chennai' will have Divya Spandana aka 'Kuthu' Ramya, the heroine of his debut vehicle, as the female lead.
The actress, according to sources, was recently narrated the script by Vetrimaaran and is thoroughly impressed. "She may anytime sign on the dotted line for Vada Chennai, after which an official announcement will be made," add sources.

Confirming this, Divya says, "Yes, I had discussions with Vetri. I hope I would be part of Vada Chennai." And she adds: "Vetrimaaran is one of the few directors who do thorough homework before going to the sets. We are good friends since Polladhavan days."

Divya is more popular in Sandalwood than in Kollywood. Hailing from an influential political family, she recently enrolled herself in the Congress party. 'Vada Chennai', interestingly, will have STR, the hero of her first Tamil film 'Kuthu', in the lead.
